A Few of Our Partners
Our Fiscal Partner - Community Partners
Our fiscal partner's scope of work often includes:
- Working closely with grantmakers to move their ideas from vision to action
- Ensuring effective program implementation
- Providing technical assistance and capacity-building services for grantees
- Coordinating pools of resources and consultants
- Regranting
- Establish a program office, a central point of operations for any or all of the above activities. Their model is well staffed, but flexible and streamlined enough to morph and grow along with a dynamic, developing initiative.
Financials
Community Partners is proud of its thorough stewardship of resources. In addition, we make our Full Audited Financial Statements for 2013 available as a PDF for your convenience.
Women Vets - Partnered with Operation Reinvent
OPERATION REINVENT is a first-of-its-kind initiative designed for women veterans whose needs in transitioning from military to civilian lives exceed the scarce resources currently available.
OPERATION REINVENT removes obstacles and solves problems on the way to building confidence and creating success. We give our women veterans the presence and the heightened self-esteem that comes from a professional image. And help them get the right job that puts them on a winning path. Because that first step — getting the right job — is the hardest part of their transition. The right job gives you dignity. The right job creates a ‘new normal.’ The right job puts them on the path to achieve their goals.
National Council on Disabilities
NCD's Mission
NCD's mission is to be a trusted advisor, in collaboration with people with disabilities to:
- The President
- The Congress
- Federal entities
- State, tribal communities, and local governments; and
- Other entities and organizations
I stand as a triple minority, and each of these identities has afforded me a variety of unique life experiences. As I enter a room in my wheelchair, I am faced with the inevitable stares of pity and discernment. The world seems to view my wheelchair as a hindrance, but I see my disability as a blessing that has provided me a platform for social change."
Of These Four Categories: Arts, Athletics, Aviation, Equestrian
Girls Fly! is a dedicated place and time for a female to be empowered to make her dreams a reality. The time is devoted to being mentored, inspired and reminded of the power of the girl voice within, regardless of age and circumstances.
When strangers arrive for their Girls Fly! experience, they leave as friends and cheerleaders for a successful life. They are connected by their shared dream:
- Arts range from finding your voice in the performing arts with an American Idol to creative expression in the culinary arts at a local restaurant.
- Athletics has covered dreams of hiking a local terrain, synchronized swimming to training with Olympians.
- Aviation - Meet women in aviation, women who have built their own planes and take a flight.
- Equestrian - Girls Fly! on horses as therapy, for athletic adventures and personal development.

First Lady Michelle Obama, September 26, 2011
“If we’re going to out-innovate and out-educate the rest of the world, we’ve got to open doors for everyone. We need all hands on deck, and that means clearing hurdles for women and girls as they navigate careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.”
Where Are We Going With Girls Fly!
Six months later, Girls Fly! Liberia took place in Monrovia over five days. President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf appeared on Day 5.
June, 2013, Girls Fly! Belize was tested and a video of more than 5,000 girls over three days can be viewed below.
It is our desire to partner with Auction.com to make Girls Fly! happen in New York City, Austin, Plano, Miami, Belmont, Irvine, Newport and Compton.
Thank you for your consideration and belief in what is possible for women and girls from all walks of life.
