TUSD Child Nutrition was shaking it up during National Nutrition Month with the theme
“Celebrate A World Of Flavors”. The focus of this theme is to celebrate food from many cultures and appreciate their diversity. This is a great way to try new foods and flavors, as well as get a variety of nutrition.

TUSD Child Nutrition brought new and exciting flavors to Vanden with International Burger day. The team is also featuring strawberry-apple smoothies at the elementary sites, and ending the month of April with street tacos at TEC.

Cambridge Elementary celebrated Read Across America week with a Book Bakery/Tasting in which the library was set up like a bakery cafe.

Each table was assigned with books of different literature genres and authors with the intent of encouraging students to explore the library's diverse book collection. It was another way to introduce them to a wide array of books, get out of their comfort zones, and engaged in new genres.
