Washington MS January '23 Update
It's a Great Day to be a Junior Husky!
From the Main Office
Good evening, Washington Middle School caregivers!
We received some bittersweet news recently. We found out Interim Principal Williams will be leaving Washington MS at the end of January. We are grateful for the dedication and leadership he brought to our school. He came to us from Missouri with a mission to keep us on track, and he succeeded in helping us navigate a smooth start to the school year. Thank you, Mr. Williams, for your contributions and for your support.
On the bright side, we are thrilled to announce that Principal Hunt will be returning from leave! We have had an amazing start to the school year, and we know that Ms. Hunt will be the perfect leader to guide us through the rest of the year with her strong leadership and enthusiastic spirit. We are looking forward to her return!

Staff Shoutout!
Destiny Edwards, βMs. Desβ started in the Distinct classroom this week as our IA. Her entrance into our classroom and daily routines have been seamless. She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge about managing behaviors and has been such a collaborative force in her first week. Students warmed up to her immediately and we are all so happy to have her in our classroom! (from Ms. Irish-Jones)
Way to go, Ms. Des!
