Greetings,
Wow! It is November already! Pretty soon the end of the year will be here in no time. Below are some checklists for each grade level that may have a variety of deadlines depending on the career pathway students might choose. Seniors, if college is in your sights...there are time-sensitive deadlines that occur now through January.
Seniors:
- Applying to college/trade schools
- Check application deadline
- Send transcript
- Letters of Recommendation (if required)
- Write Essay (if required)
- Complete Financial Aid Application
- Apply for Scholarships
- Applying to Apprenticeships
- Check application deadline
- Send transcript
- Send identification
- Possible entry exam
- Cost? Is there one?
- Applying Straight to Job
- Create Resumé
- Letters of Recommendations
- Reference Contacts
- Collect all necessary documents
- SSN, Birth Certificate etc.
Juniors
- Research Careers that interest you to determine if they need college or trade school
- Visit Colleges/Trade Schools virtually or in-person
- Scholarships - you can apply as early as 9th grade
- Check entrance requirements
- entrance exams, GPA, etc.
Freshmen and Sophomores
- Research Careers that interest you
- Volunteer or Job Shadow a career that you're interested in
- What kind of training or education will that career require?
- Start researching and applying for scholarships
Check the resources section for helpful links such as testing, checklists, scholarships, financial aid, and students can make an appointment by selecting the Career Specialist Appointments using their student email.

Events
- Financial Aid Application Opened for current Seniors to apply & College Students to renew - 1 October 2021 - deadline 30 June 2022
- AP Students must register for the AP Exams by 12 November in CollegeBoard AP Classroom, regardless if they plan to take the exams or not. If students do not register by 12 November they will not be able to later. They can opt-out of the exam in the spring but not opt-in. Do not pay for AP exams until Spring.

- Army National Guard - 1st Wednesday each month
- Coast Guard - 1st & 3rd Tuesday each month
