Shout Out Corner
Fifth Grade Students & Teachers- Our students are rocking and rolling as they are meeting their learning goals in reading, math and science each week. Thanks team for creating such fun and engaging learning opportunities. The kids are loving American Ninja Warrior challenges, Spotlight on Math, and Science Club. -Natalie
Wendy Smith - Thank you for all you did on Monday helping to get our district honor choir kids to and from rehearsal in Denton. You made a crazy afternoon super fun for our kiddos! Thank you for your positive energy and your willingness to help
-Melanie Stewart
Brenda Dulin and Jill Pennington for going above and beyond with their help in 5th grade reading and math interventions! Couldn't have done it without you both!
- Andy Kane
Amanda Qualls for completely setting our kids on fire to read by incorporating book trailers at the beginning of our Library time. We seriously have to have a lottery system to award these books to the kids. Awesome!- Andy Kane & Michelle Duesman
Boosterthon- Best One Yet!
This year's Boosterthon experience is sure to be the best one yet! We are excited to have an opportunity to raise money for Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) materials for both PCE and Bell. We will receive our Boosterthon t-shirts on Tuesday. Please wear it on Thursday.
Our fabulous PTA is chairing Boosterthon this year! We need your help recruiting parent volunteers on the day of the run to mark laps on shirts and to assist us at the water station.

Enjoying the Ride
“Did you know you can take your bus anywhere you want to go? Say yes three times with me. Yes, yes, yes. You can take it to the movies, the beach or the North Pole. Just say where you want to go and believe that it will be so. Because every journey and ride begins with a desire to go somewhere and do something and if you have a desire then you also have the power to make it happen.”
― Jon Gordon, The Energy Bus: 10 Rules to Fuel Your Life, Work, and Team with Positive Energy
Thanks for all you do to keep our tanks full of positive energy! It's the little things that make such a big difference. Starting each student's day out as you greet them at your classroom doors- lets them know they are valued. All of those 'High Fives' as you celebrate each small success of the class working together to reach a goal- lets them stay motivated. All of the team planning and preparations you spend hours on to provide engaging learning opportunities- lets them engage in being "Inspired Passionate Learners."
Your dedication, commitment, and passion to take your kids on the learning journey of a lifetime is priceless. We appreciate all you do to take our bus where we want to go- Inspiring Passionate Learners who achieve a minimum of one year's growth.
Attendance Matters by Ms. Mills
The following information is in our March Newsletter to parents. Please consider setting a class goal to support being on time to begin the learning journey. High Fives could be included on your High Five Charts to support this goal. Spring is in the air and Daylight Savings is just around the corner. It's a great time to remind parents of all the valuable learning activities you're doing the minute the students arrive.
Students arriving after the 7:50 tardy bell need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the office to be signed in for the day.
Arriving on time each day sets up the students for success. Partner with us to "Inspire Passionate Learners" by students beginning the learning journey on time each day.
