NO SCHOOL - MONDAY JANUARY 16, 2017
Monday, January 16th is a school holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. day. We will be conducting a flag salute for students on Tuesday morning to honor the day.
THE SHOE DRIVE IS HERE!
The Shoe Drive will take place the week of January 17-20. We would like to remind you to keep saving any gently used shoes that you don’t need anymore. All shoes for donation should be brought to school during that week. All shoe sizes will be accepted and the grade level that brings in the most shoes will earn a prize.

WESTPARK'S KIDS RUN THE OC (KROC) RUNNING PROGRAM
The Kids Run The OC Training Program was designed to help pre-adolescent kids become more physically fit, promote an active and healthy lifestyle and combat the onset of childhood obesity. . . while having fun! This is accomplished through various games, which help improve speed, agility, hand/eye coordination, flexibility and your child's overall fitness. Students from each participating school will be led through our popular and fun training program at their school by The OC Marathon certified coach.
By the end of the program each student will have accumulated the equivalent of 25.2 miles of fun activity, and will be ready to finish their own Marathon by completing their final mile at the Kids Run The OC held in conjunction with The OC Marathon finish line events at the OC Fair and Event Center on Saturday, May 6, 2016. Both the 1 mile and 5 K race will both be on Saturday.
