The PTO is looking for lots of support, donations and support for their biggest fundraiser, the Carnival on Friday, April 24.
The PTO supports the students at Glenn by raising funds and providing necessary funds to teachers to continue their great teaching. Come to the next meeting. There is childcare during the meeting. Many of the PTO members will be stepping down at the end of the year due to their children moving to middle school. Think about how you can get involved.

Nurse Notes
As winter approaches I encourage all families to get the flu shot if they have not already had the opportunity. With the cold weather approaching we want to keep our children as healthy as possible. Please remember to wash hands often and wipe down hard surfaces and toys often at home. Adequate sleep schedules and proper amount of sleep will help keep our kids healthy and ready to learn. Elementary kids need 9-11 hours of sleep per night. Encourage a healthy diet with proper balanced nutrition to help encourage a healthy immune system. Please remember students who have had a fever of 100 degrees or above, vomiting, diarrhea or a contagious rash/illness should not attend school. They should be free of illness or condition for 24 hours before returning to school. Children with fever must be free off fever without use of medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
For further information on influenza type and seasonal illness please go to http://www.cdc.gov/flu/
Thank you for helping us keep children healthy at school!
