(Description: Presenter Susan Goodkin, a national college consultant and Executive Director of the California Learning Strategies Center, is graduate of Harvard University, Harvard Law School, and Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. She will discuss what you need to know and what mistakes to avoid - - starting in 9th grade - - about topics including curriculum, testing (lots of changes this year!), extracurricular activities, and college applications, including application options (options like ED 2, which didn't exist when we applied, can radically impact your student's chances of getting in!).
