Father Tom's Message
You are braver than you believe,
and stronger than you seem,
and smarter than you think.
~ Christopher Robin
Almost 100 years ago AA Milne wrote the story of Winnie- the- Pooh. Maybe these last five weeks leave us wondering…can we get through this? This Second Sunday of Easter we hear the story of an Apostle named Thomas (Doubting Thomas) who wasn’t with the others when the Risen Christ appeared, he therefore didn’t believe what the others told him. He was trying to get through emotionally and spiritually what had happened Good Friday – Jesus crucified and laid to rest in the tomb. When the Risen Jesus appears again Jesus said to him; “Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
The risen Jesus strengthens those who need to be strengthened. As we continue our Celebration of Easter let us be mindful of the Risen Jesus and pray for Jesus to guide us. To all those who are assisting our Students, to our Faculty and Administration I remind you; You are brave, you are strong, you are smart.
God Bless you and Keep you!! May the Risen Christ ever fill our hearts with H O P E.

Principal's Notes
I always take a look at my calendar when I sit down to write my weekly update. It is very hard to believe that the last time we were together was five weeks ago. Although the past five weeks have brought challenges and frustrations, I have found many things to be proud of.
- I'm so proud of how our students have adjusted to learning in a different manner.
- I'm proud of how our students are finding new and exciting ways of staying connected with their friends.
- I'm proud that my faculty was able to completely alter their teaching in a way that meets the needs of their students from afar.
- I'm proud of the support that our school parents have expressed for our school.
- I'm proud to be part of the Saint Bridget School Community!
My pride makes me confident that we can handle the challenges ahead of us. I have received many questions about what I think about the rest of the school year. This decision is beyond my control, and I am unaware of the next step Gov. Baker will take.
My promise to you is to share any news as soon as I am aware of any changes Gov. Baker, or the Catholic Schools Office, makes in relation to school closure. I think we all long for a return to normalcy and predictability.
Thank you to everyone that sent in a Spring Picture this week. They were very creative. Check out the slide show created by Miss Zina and Mrs. Robbins, Spring Picture Slide Show - LINK
All my best,
