This business partnered with Mata to fulfill teachers' classroom wish lists. Teachers received school supplies for their students.

Alief ISD staff member Edwin Molina is a published author.

Molina, who is a district Attendance Officer and Community Liaison, wrote Puerto Rico: Restoring Hope Through Poetry. This children's book is written as poetry and is about Puerto Rico's history and current state after Hurricane Maria. The book is written in both English and Spanish.

Proceeds from the book sales will be donated to assist Puerto Rico with its recovery efforts.

Congratulations to the following Alief ISD staff members, whose DonorsChoose.org projects were funded!
