News You Can Use

Important things to remember:

Pick Up:

Parents picking students up at dismissal should pick up by the B2 door. Please do not pull around the building, this causes the busses to be held up. We appreciate your help with ensuring all students are safely picked up at the end of the day.

Just a reminder, you can add money to your child's lunch account by going online to Myschoolbucks.com. This helps to move the lunch line along.

All chromebooks must remain in the cases, this helps to protect them.

Math and Reading Ramp Up program

The after school Math and Reading Ramp Up program will begin on Tuesday, October 15th until 3:15pm.

Students that have been recommended for the Math and/or Reading Ramp Up program will be receiving letters on Tuesday, October 8th. Please return participation forms by Friday, October 11th. The purpose of this program is to target skills individual students need to increase success in class.

We have seen great success with students that participate in this program!

Attendance Matters!

Please ensure your student is in school every day and on time to promote academic success!

Based on the student handbook, students that are tardy 3 times will receive a 2 hour detention. We will begin counting tardies on October 1st.

We appreciate your help to get students to school on time.

Starting in October, we will be using the Attendance Nudge, a tool from the RI Department of Education. Parents will receive notification regarding student absences informing them of the amount of school students have missed compared to other students in their grade.

It is essential that students attend school everyday!
