What a perfect time for a three-day weekend! As if there is ever a bad time for an extended weekend. Hydrate, wear SPF and a hat and try to stay in the shade as much as possible as we can expect this Labor Day Holiday to be in the or near 100s. Don’t forget when your Cougar comes back to campus on Tuesday we’ll have a shortened week so there won’t be a C-day on Friday. The schedule will go as follows: BABA

Back to School Night: Due to Covid restrictions in place, we will forego our typical BTS night schedule when parents/guardians follow their student’s schedule and will instead hold general assemblies for each grade level in either the Cafeteria, Library, or Gymnasium. Each assembly will last roughly 45 minutes and those in attendance will get to hear from a core teacher rep (math, ELA, science, social studies) their grade-level counselor, and the grade-level AP. We will also be Live Zooming the proceedings for those who cannot attend. In an effort to be as safe as possible, we will also be launching the teacher-created videos on Tuesday a.m. so you can hear directly from your student’s specific core teacher as well as hear from their electives teachers. Since it is impossible to hear from all electives teachers at the in-person meetings, all electives will only be accessible through the online format which is on our website.

Parking is limited, as is space, so please make sure to keep your student at home this evening. Due to Stage 5 Covid Restrictions, we will be utilizing large, open areas instead of classrooms. The general assembly will consist of information from core teachers and grade level counselors and APs. Hi Parents! Welcome to Clint Small Middle School.

Our Teachers and Staff have been working hard getting the school, classrooms, campus, and animals ready for the school year. Here are some items that will keep them Recharged and Refreshed. Thank you for your donations in advance!

• Please drop off any donations at the front door, preferably at non-pick up times 😊

Method #1) Send your student in with a note. First thing in the morning, they should come to the main office with a note from home stating what time they will be picked up. We will exchange that note for a pass to leave class at that time. When the time comes, the student shows their teacher the pass and then comes to the main office. They are there ready for pick up and you make your appointment on time.

Method #2) What I like to call... Order a kid. let's say you just found out about an appointment, or forgot to send a note... No problem - just go to the main page of our website www.smallmiddleschool.org and scroll to the bottom. Under the helpful links section, click "Student Early Pickup Request". Our front office staff will monitor that all day and send a note to the student to come down at the time requested.

If method one or two are not used, prepare to wait up to 30 minutes for us to find your student and get them to the office.

You will notice we are doing something new with both!
