Alex Rider, Snakehead is one of the many books in the series called Alex Rider. In this book a young teenager by the name of Alex Rider is recruited to join the Australian special forces called ASIS. Alex would be with his godfather Ash who works for ASIS full time. Their objective is to infiltrate the afghan terrorist group and put an end to their plan of blowing up an island full of celebrities. The real reason Alex took this mission wasn’t because he wanted to stop these people, it was because he wanted to get to know his godfather Ash and find out more about his parents passed. Alex never met his parents because they were also special agents and they were killed in action.
Alex Rider
Alex Rider is a 14 year old agent that works all around the world. In this book he is working for the Australian secret agency. His plan was to infiltrate a terrorist group and put an end to it.
Major Winston Yu
Major Winston Yu was the leader of the terrorist group that Alex was fighting. His plan was to blow up an island that had a bunch of celebrities on it

This quote by the author Anthony Horowitz describes the personality of his star Alex Rider. After reading a book from this series, you can definitely see how Horowitz created Alex after James Bond.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants By: Ann Brashares
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is the first book in the series by Ann Brashares. The book starts by all the girls helping pack for their summer trips when Carmen finds a pair of jeans that they all try on. Despite all of their size differences the pants fit all of them perfectly. So they decide to make a pact to never throw away the pants and they must send them to each other after a week of wearing them. Once the summer is over the girls will right their best memory with the pants on the inside of one of the legs. Throughout the story the girls all go through tough days and great days but them knowing that they have the pants makes them feel like they have their friends there supporting them at all times.
Bridget
Another one of the sister's, Bridget goes away to soccer camp the day after the girls find the pants. She is an excellent soccer player and her coach at camp wants to transform her into an all-star. While Bridget was at camp she met a boy named Eric and she fell for him until he hurt her.
Tibby
Tibby is another one of the sister's. She decided to stay home and film a documentary about how lame her coworkers are. While she was home she met a little girl who has leukemia named bailey. They become good friends and Bailey decides to help her with the movie
Carmen
Carmen is part of the sisterhood. She spends all summer in South Carolina visiting her dad. When Carmen arrives there she learns that her dad is engaged. So she spends the whole summer in a bad mood
Lena
One of the girls in the sisterhood. Lena goes to Santorini, Greece to visit her grandparents over the summer when she meets a boy named Kostos. By the end of the summer Lena gets a really big crush on Kostos

This quote from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants describes perfectly what all of the girls went through over the summer. Each and every girl learned that their life will never be perfect and they need to stop worrying about trying to make it perfect
