The Blood of Olympus

The review
The story is basically about a greek and roman camp of demigods that must unite to defeat Gaea and save the world. The main characters are Percy son of Poseidon, Annabeth daughter of Athena, Frank son of Mars, Nico son of Hades, Hazel daughter of Pluto, Reyna daughter of Bellona, Jason son of Jupiter, and Piper daughter of Aphrodite. They encounter several problems along the way such as the camps turning on one another, Jason getting stabbed with imperial gold, and the minor goddess Kymopoleia almost tearing apart their ship. My favorite character is Percy because I can easily relate to him. He's the strong willed leader that is willing to sacrifice himself for his friends.
The book was by far the best in the series even if it is the last book. Its hard to choose my favorite part but it would be when the gods descended from the heavens to help the kids defeat the giants. Picking my least favorite part is easy its when Gaea the earth mother rises to destroy both the greek and roman camps. If I could change anything I would change the ending to reveal more. The ending leaves so many unanswered questions.
I would recommend this book and the others in the series to anyone that loves action and adventure.
