End of 3rd Quarter Newsletter
Beginning Tuesday, March 30th ALL STUDENTS WILL RETURN TO CAMPUS DAILY FOR ON-CAMPUS LEARNING TUESDAY- FRIDAY.
MORNING TRAFFIC
- Students should plan extra time to arrive at school due to increased traffic.
- Please be aware of the bus traffic and give the buses plenty of room at the roundabout.
- Students SHOULD NOT be dropped off in the exit lanes between the roundabout and the bus lane (see red area in picture below).
- If you are dropping off your student, please ensure that they are ready to exit your vehicle as soon as you stop in order to avoid delaying vehicles behind you.
AFTERNOON TRAFFIC
- Students and parents should plan for additional time needed for pick up and departure.
- All students will be required to exit the student parking lot using the two-lane exit lanes that run from the roundabout to the bus lane.
- The roundabout EXIT will be CLOSED from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on school days.
- Students must use the main crosswalk if they are being picked up in the Staff Parking area.
- Students must use the cafeteria crosswalk if they are going to the Student Parking area.
- Students SHOULD NOT be picked up in the exit lanes between the roundabout and the bus lane (see red area in picture below).
Grades 9, 10, 12
Students in these grades will remain at home on Tuesday, April 13th and will have four 45-minute asynchronized lessons for the day similar to a Remote Learning AM Monday.
Grade 11
Juniors need to be at the school by 8:15 am to the assigned testing classroom on Tuesday, April 13th. Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
Juniors will need to provide their own transportation. If there is a transportation need, please contact Mr. Tustin at tustin.wyatt@westada.org
Note:
- A separate email will be sent to ALL RHS juniors and parents with additional SAT exam information after spring break.
- Every effort will be made to ensure proper physical distancing during SAT testing, including a reduced number of students per testing room.
- Students will be expected to wear a mask at all times while in the school.
Quarter 3 ISAT Schedule
Sophomores who are in an English class or Math class this quarter (Q3)
*OR*
Juniors who are taking a Science class this quarter (Q3) will be taking the ISAT’s during the following days:
Wednesday, March 31st
- 1A & 2A – 10th grade Math ISAT (CAT)
- 3A & 4A – 11th grade Science ISAT
Thursday, April 1st
- 1A & 2A – 11th grade Science ISAT
- 3A & 4A – 10th grade Math ISAT (PT)
Tuesday, April 6th
- 1A & 2A – 10th grade ELA ISAT (CAT)
Wednesday, April 7th
- 3A & 4A – 10th grade ELA ISAT (PT)
Note:
- Quarter 3 students and parents will receive a separate email with additional ISAT information upon returning from spring break.
- Quarter 4 ISAT schedule will be provided at a later date. It is posted on the RHS May Calendar
Upcoming Dates:
- Tuesday, March 30th -- ALL students return to RHS for On-Campus Learning for Q3 classes
- Thursday, April 8th -- Last Day for Q3 classes
- Friday, April 9th -- First Day for Q4 classes
- Monday, April 12th -- Q4 Remote Learning Monday Schedule
- Tuesday, April 13th -- SAT testing for 11th grade students only on campus
- Tuesday, April 13th -- 9th, 10th, & 12th grade students will remain home for Remote Learning AM Monday schedule with four 45-minute asynchronous lessons for the day.
- Wednesday, April 14th -- ALL students return to RHS for On-Campus Learning for Q4 classes
