Principal's Note
Parents, Families, Guardians:
Have you signed up for your family-teacher conference yet? We have opened sign ups for all and hope to meet our goal of having 100% of our students signed up by or before March 6th. The conference nights are March 11th and March 19th. If you work nights, and cannot come at night, please reach out to your son/daughter's teacher to schedule a morning time.
Starting next week, we will be starting a friendly attendance tournament. (See below!) What do you need to do to prepare? Nothing extra, just help us by getting your children to school each day! Classrooms will face off based on weekly attendance percentages by class. Our current building % average for the year is 92.8% and our goal is to have 95% average by the end of the year. It's better when we're all together - let's get here everyday!
Upcoming Events:
- Thursday, February 27th - Skateland (see flyer below for details) 5:30PM-8:30PM.
- Friday, February 28th - Early Release Schedule. Students will be dismissed at 1:40PM.
- Friday, March 6th - Shamrock Dance!
- Monday, March 9th @ 6pm - PTO Meeting
- March 11th or 19th - **Mandatory Family Teacher Conference** We will have signs ups ASAP - every family is required to attend.
Thank you for your support and for choosing Whittier. We are honored to work with your children everyday.
