Happy Friday Eversole Run Families,
We had a huge turn out for our middle school choir concert. It was great to see all of the support from friends and families for our students. Congratulations to Ms. Burwick and the Eversole Run choir members for doing a phenomenal job performing on Wednesday. Our 5th/6th grade orchestra students will be performing on Monday, December 13 at 7pm. Please come out to support our students.
The student council is hosting a spirit week during the week of December 13-17th. The themes for each day are below.
Monday (12/13): Eversole Spirit day! Wear your Eversole gear or colors.
Tuesday (12/14): Wear your favorite holiday colors!
Wednesday (12/15): Wacky Wednesday! Wear crazy hair, crazy socks, and mismatch
Thursday (12/16): Ugly sweater day
Friday (12/17): Pajama Day

Athletics
It was another great week of Eversole Eagle Athletics!
Congratulations to our Wrestling team who evened their dual record at 2-2 with a road win at Karrer Middle School. They defeated the Golden Shamrocks, 45-32 on Wednesday night. Great job, boys!
Our 8th Grade Boys and Girls Basketball teams went undefeated this week. On Tuesday night, the Boys team beat Worthingway on the road, while the Girls team defeated the Cardinals at home. On Thursday, the boys cruised past Worthington Kilbourne at home, while the girls dispatched the Cardinals on the road. It was a great week for our entire basketball program!
As usual, our Basketball Sideline Cheerleading squad did a fantastic job performing, engaging the crowd, and supporting our teams. Our Competition Cheerleading squad has a huge weekend ahead of them! On Sunday, they will compete in the OASSA State Competition being held at Hilliard Bradley High School. They have performances scheduled for 10:05am & 1:00pm. Wish them good luck or come on out and support!
A special good luck goes out to Eversole Cross Country athletes Ethan Ishida, Natalie Fouts, and Sienna Higbee. They will be competing in the USA Track and Field Junior Olympics Cross Country Championships in Lexington, Kentucky this weekend. They have worked hard to prepare, and our Eversole community is behind them!
Lastly, next week, Eversole and Grizzell Athletics is partnering for a community fundraising event with Piada Italian Street Food. Ski Club!
Eversole Run Ski and Board Club meeting for students ONLY who have already signed up will be Monday, December 13, 2021 at 7:45am in the commons to meet Ms. Rish, Mr. Shafer and Ms. Emmons. Students will also get all of their questions answered before the first Ski Club trip after school on January 4, 2022.
PSAT 8/9 Score Information
PSAT 8/9
In October 2021, all 8th grade students were given the opportunity to participate in the PSAT 8/9 assessment at no cost to the student. The PSAT 8/9 is the first in the series of SAT suite of assessments through the CollegeBoard offered by Dublin City Schools. PSAT 8/9 results were posted to student's CollegeBoard accounts earlier this week. Parents will be invited to a virtual PSAT 8/9 parent night after the first of the year to learn more about these results and will receive additional information about the PSAT 8/9 results next week.
