Who Do You Say That I Am?
Mathew 16: 13-20
Who Jesus is to Me
Everyone has there own descriptions of who Jesus is to them, some may say that he is everywhere or that he is love. I say that Jesus is our caring saviour who loves us more than we could ever imagine. Jesus shows his everloving care after the disciples were trying to keep the children from him, to this he said "Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Mathew 19:14). He always invites us to enjoy his company no matter the obstacles. He accepts us as we are, he is the only one who will never think less of us. While at Mathew's house, the sinners come and sit with him and the pharisees see this and disaprove in response, Jesus says "I did not come to call the righteous but sinners" (Mathew 9:13). In my eyes, Jesus is everything good in the world, he is in every person and everything.
He Holds Us in the Palm of His Hand.
He Cares for Us
He is Our Joyous Shepherd
Jesus is Everywhere
Christ is everywhere and in everything. The picture below reminds me of Jesus because of how serene it seems. Christ is who makes me calm, who gives me confidence. When looking at this picture I see the beauty of nature that reflects its maker. nature is so delecate and precise and fills anyone who cares to notice with joy and serenity. Christ is everything.
