This is your principal, Robert L. Carter with the Banneker Principal Weekly Update. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. What great weather we had. Thank you to the hybrid 3-5 families who joined me for the principals coffee on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I think we are all ready for the return of students this week. I can't wait to see everyone. Last week's Positivity Project theme was Gratitude, and what a great time to be able to express gratitude. This week's Positivity Project theme is Kindness. Kindness means you are generous and you enjoy doing good deeds for other people. Kind people think about the needs and feelings of other people, and then act to help those people.
