- Women were arrested for protesting for the rights that they believed in.
Al Capone (Gangster)
- Al Capone was a gangster in the 1920's who was responsible for many murders and brutal acts of violence.
- His life and all his crimes are now made into movies and books.

- Girls started to show their legs and ankles.
- The "bob" haircut was the most popular haircut for women.

- Finally the average family could afford a car.
- Roads that were made for horses were being transformed into roads for cars.

- The 20's is also called "The Jazz Age"
- Louis Armstrong was one of the most influential musician in the United States.
