So long.. Farewell...
Mrs. Blankenship's Fifth Grade Class 2016-2017
The time has come....
Opening this newsletter means that this school year is now complete. In keeping with tradition, I share the following:
I do not look at teaching as a job or even a career. I feel it is so much more than that. It is my passion to teach children. Lessons from books are necessary but life lessons are as well. I take this responsibility seriously and am so very grateful that you entrusted me to educate your son/daughter. My hope is that your child leaves this school year retaining what was taught and has a desire to learn so much more next year. I am fully confident that this year's class holds the potential to change the world, and I plan on bragging when I see their names attached to important discoveries!
While I will archive our class email address book, please know that I will always have a keen interest in the "goings on" with your child. Please keep me posted! As you continue traveling with your child on his/her educational journey, please know how thankful I am to you for sending me your very best.
Please take a minute (or 16!) to view the video I have posted below as a time capsule of our year.
Fondly,
Mrs. Blankenship
