Dear Three Oaks Community,
I hope this message finds you and your families in good health and high spirits. As we embark on the exciting journey of a new school year, it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all our returning families and a heartfelt greeting to those who are joining our Three Oaks family for the first time.
We extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome to Mr. Aaron Popp, who joins us as the new administrative assistant at Three Oaks Elementary. His presence is sure to enhance our school community, and we look forward his partnership as we are eager to collaborate with him in fostering a productive and thriving atmosphere for all.
The beginning of a school year brings with it a sense of anticipation and promise. It is a time of renewed energy and fresh possibilities, and I am thrilled to see our halls and classrooms buzzing with the enthusiasm of our students and educators alike.
At Three Oaks, we understand that a strong and vibrant community is essential to the success of our students. I encourage each and every one of you to take an active role in your child's education by joining our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The PTA serves as a vital bridge between home and school, fostering open lines of communication and collaboration. By being a part of the PTA, you not only contribute to the educational experience of your child but also play a significant role in shaping the overall growth of our school community.
Collaboration between parents, educators, and students is at the heart of our educational philosophy. Together, we create an environment where every student's unique talents are nurtured, and their potential is unlocked. Our doors are always open to your ideas, suggestions, and contributions. Your involvement can make a lasting impact on the education and development of our students.
As we move forward into the new school year, let us remember the spirit that unites us all: "Once a Wolf, Always a Wolf." This phrase embodies the sense of belonging, unity, and pride that defines our school community. It serves as a reminder that no matter where life's journey takes us, we remain connected by the values and experiences we share here.
In the coming months, there will be numerous opportunities to engage with the school community through events, workshops, and initiatives. I urge you to participate actively, connect with fellow parents, and engage in meaningful conversations with our dedicated educators.
Thank you for entrusting us with the education and growth of your children. Together, we will make this school year a remarkable chapter in their journey of learning and discovery.
Here's to a successful and rewarding school year ahead!
Warm regards,
Matt Orebaugh
Principal

School Planning Council 2023-2024
Dear TOES Parents/Guardians,
Subject: Join Our School Planning Council - Shape the Future of Education!
We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we embark on another exciting academic year, we are thrilled to invite you to become an integral part of our Elementary School's journey by joining the School Planning Council (SPC).
The School Planning Council plays a vital role in shaping the direction and initiatives of our school. By bringing together parents, educators, and community members, the SPC ensures that all voices are heard, and that our school's programs, policies, and activities are aligned with the best interests of our students.
Purpose of the School Planning Council: The SPC serves as a collaborative platform to:
- Review and recommend improvements to the school's educational programs and activities.
- Participate in the development of the school's annual plan, budget, and priorities.
- Foster open communication and engagement between parents, staff, and the broader community.
- Identify and address challenges facing the school and propose solutions.
Meeting Dates for the 2023-2024 Academic Year: We have scheduled three important SPC meetings for the upcoming academic year. These meetings will take place on the following dates:
October 17, 2023 @ 5:00pm : This meeting will focus on setting the agenda for the school year, reviewing last year's accomplishments, and discussing goals for the current academic year.
January 18, 2024 @ 8:00am: During this meeting, we will assess the progress made in the first half of the school year, discuss any necessary adjustments to the school's plan, and plan for upcoming events. We will also conduct Learning Walks where we will visit classrooms to see teachers and students in action.
March 14, 2024 @ 5:00pm: The final meeting of the academic year will involve reflecting on the achievements and challenges of the year, gathering feedback for improvements, and discussing plans for the next school year.
Why Should You Join? Your participation in the School Planning Council is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on our school community. By sharing your insights, ideas, and concerns, you contribute to the decision-making process that directly affects the educational experience of our students. This is a chance to collaborate with dedicated educators, parents, and community members who share a common goal: to provide the best possible learning environment for our children.
We understand that your time is valuable, but your involvement is invaluable to us. Together, we can ensure that our school continues to thrive and meet the needs of our students in a rapidly changing world.
