NCCAE Celebrates World Read Aloud Day! 2/1/2023

ARE YOU READY TO VOLUNTEER FOR WORLD READ ALOUD DAY??!!

Please join us on February 1, 2023 and be a reader for a classroom of your choice to celebrate this day! We are asking for 1 reader per classroom to read to our learners. Click the sign up genius link and pick an open classroom slot and sign up! Only 24 total readers needed!

For 13 years, World Read Aloud Day has called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience, and read-aloud! The global effort, created by the non-profit LitWorld and sponsored by Scholastic, is celebrated annually in over 173 countries and is all about bringing people together through the shared connection of reading aloud in all of our communities.

Remember you must be cleared by the district to volunteer in the school building so before you sign up as a volunteer reader, make sure you have completed the CCSD mandatory volunteer application.
