Health and Safety

During hybrid learning last spring, we implemented important safety measures to prevent the spread of illness. As a reminder, the following is a list of COVID-19 mitigation practices that will be in place with a couple of additions based on the most recent guidance from ODE:
  • Required masks in all indoor spaces for all students/staff
  • Assigned breezeway entrances for specific grade levels
  • No outside visitors
  • Cohorting of students
  • Staff vaccination requirement
  • 3 ft distancing to the extent possible
  • Outdoor air circulated into all unique classrooms
  • Open doors weather permitting
  • Lunch 3ft distancing and assigned seating
  • Breakfast grab-n-go will likely be in classrooms with open doors
  • Handwashing and hygiene taught and practiced regularly
  • Contact tracing and appropriate response to positive cases/exposure (exact protocols to come)

More details to come as guidance is shared and schedules/systems are planned.

Class Lists (Repeat)

Class lists are in draft form and frequently revised at this time as we have new students enrolling. Our plan is to email families a notification of who their child's homeroom teacher will be, in early September. One of the factors impacting finalizing class lists is identifying how many of our students are planning on accessing online learning options. Class lists are a work in progress so thank you so much for your patience. Kindergarten Class lists are developed as we get to know more about our new students during the first few days of school.

Calling All Future Pandas! (Repeat)

We want to be sure to find all of our future Pandas within our school boundary who intend on enrolling. Especially kindergarten families. If you know of any neighbors or families in the community interested in attending Spring Creek Elementary, please send them our way!
