Synthesis reaction
Synthesis definition-In a synthesis reaction two or more chemical species combine to form a more complex product.
Example- this chain serves as an example of synthesis.
Decomposition Reaction
Definition- Breakdown is the separation of a chemical compound into elements or simpler compounds.
Example is compost materials. like banana peels apple cores egg shells, and coffee grounds break down to form something else.
Combustion Reaction
Definition- A combustion reaction is a reaction in which one of the reactants is oxygen.
Example- An example is a car or truck engine gas and air are fed into a cylinder followed by a spark which ignites the fuel forcing the piston downward and back again.
Single Displacement
Definition- is a type of oxidation-reduction chemical reaction when an element or ion moves out of one compound and into another.
Example- the displacement of the metal and the chemical
Double Displacement
Definition- The reaction occurs between an acid and a base to form a salt and water.
Example- chemical
