Composting at Walden
Our 4th grade Destination Imagination team, Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead, is bringing composting to Walden. Please talk with your child about what can be composted at lunch time.
Here are some ideas for you to share with your child: apple cores, banana peels, half eaten sandwiches, orange peels, pizza boxes, paper bags, napkins and any fruit or vegetable.
What cannot be composted is anything plastic.
The compost bin will be in the lunchroom starting Monday!
Thanks!
