Caraway Principal's Weekly Update
One Family, One Goal, No Limits
May 29, 2018
Dear Caraway Community,
Thank you for another wonderful and productive school year. I can’t thank everyone enough for your endless hours of volunteering, chaperoning, reading, organizing, donating and doing whatever was necessary to support students—both at home and at school. Special thanks to our PTA who went above and beyond enrich our students’ school experience.
That experience could not occur without the endless energy, skills and devotion of the Caraway staff. Thanks and well done to an incredible group of professionals.
A final word to Caraway students: Thank you for all your hard work throughout the school year. I am so honored to be your principal; you make me proud to be a Caraway Owl. You keep me laughing and young at heart. I am grateful for your joy, astute insights and amazing talents. Best wishes to our graduating fifth graders, whom I will miss greatly—please come back and visit. Everyone have a safe and happy summer break.
Until next school year, here’s wishing you love, laughter and learning.

Weekly Safety Tip -Inform Friends of Rules
For kids, summer is all about hanging with their friends. For you, this means supervising and being responsible for more kids than just your own. Make sure both the children that will be spending time at your house, and their parents, know your rules and expectations. Also, make sure the parents know your schedule and when you will and won’t be home. Nominate a trusted group of parents to make aware of your exact schedule, the safety features you have in place in your home, and what will be expected of their children when they are over.
