A few reminders:
After first six weeks grading period: A student who receives, at the end of any grading period (after the first six weeks of the school year), a grade below 70 in any class they lose eligibility for participation. The student regains eligibility after the three school week evaluation period when the principal and teachers determine that he or she has earned a passing grade (70 or above) in all classes. Students who pass remain eligible until the end of the next grading period.

Attention GT Teachers!
We need some information about your GT mentee students for the upcoming campus and district GT expos. Our students will attend the district GT expo on either March 26 or March 27. We will be hosting a campus GT expo at the end of February or beginning of March (date is still being discussed). In order for both expos to run as smoothly as possible, the district is requiring some information about who will be attending and if they are presenting. Please reach out to your mentees to gather the following information by the end of the day next Friday, January 24:
- Project Type
- Title of Project
What is the title of their project that will be used at the district GT expo?
- Description of Project
- Working in a Group (Y/N)
Yes or No, is the student presenting with other students. The other students do not have to be GT
- All Members of Group (If applicable)
If the student is presenting with others, list all the students here including the student whom this row is for. If the student is not presenting with others, leave this cell empty.
- Attendance Options
Present to Appraiser - choose this option if student would like a time slot to be appraised for their presentation, student will receive feedback from appraiser. Present to attendees only - choose this option if the student is presenting but doe NOT want to be appraised. Attend only - choose this option if the student would like to attend the expo but is NOT presenting at all. Will NOT attend - choose this option if the student is not attending the expo at all
- Present at Evening session (Y/N)
Choose yes if student would like to present at the evening session as well for parents and other members of the community that cannot make it to the expo during the day.
- Special Needs
List any special items that students may need for their presentation or accommodations the student may need. If you are not sure, feel free to contact me. If there are no special needs, leave this cell empty.

In the coming weeks, your appraiser should be reaching out to schedule time with each of you to discuss your TTESS goals, schedule time for check ins, and schedule a formal eval (if needed). We would also would love honest feedback about our school and ways we can improve and make things better for you and our kids. Please be thinking of items you would like to share with us!

Just reminder, Dahill print devices should only be moved by a Dahill Technicians. If a Dahill/Xerox print device needs to be relocated, please place a Service Desk request with the room location/relocation information.
Scheduling Events on the Doerre Calendar
Please make sure that you are emailing all of your events to put on the Doerre Public calendar, to Ms. Davis in a timely manner (at least three weeks in advance). If you are having an event outside of normal school hours, please make sure that you are sending Ms. Davis the name/time/date of the event, as well as all of the locations in the building that you will need AC/lights. It’s vital to have all of our events scheduled in the system as soon as possible, so that there isn’t an internal conflict.

Poster Printing
Starting this Friday, Sept. 20th, Ms. Deere will begin taking your requests for poster making.
- Fridays will be the scheduled day for all poster copy requests.
- It will be helpful to know the paper size (1/2 or full sheet) of what the teacher needs the image to be printed on and the date of when they need it by.
- All poster requests must be curriculum based material, approved by admin team
- All poster requests should be emailed directly to Ms. Deere as a PDF attachment
** All laminating request to Ms. Solomon will remain the same on Wednesdays**

A Note on Employee Absences
Staff members are expected to report their absences into AESOP as soon as an employee realizes an absence is necessary. Staff members with unexpected absences, please email Terrika Glenn and Kym Pinkerton as well as their department chair, attaching teacher lesson plans. Attendance tracking forms are then submitted upon your return to work. For pre planned personal or sick absences, teachers should submit the Attendance Tracking form by email to Mrs. Land, ccing Terrika Glenn. **Please note personal leave requests require a 2 week written notice**

Schoology Parent Portal
Parents of secondary students will receive an email from Schoology with their login information on Monday, September 16th. Please make sure you have your syllabus posted and your rolling agenda updated EACH WEEK. Parent have READ ONLY access, but please make sure your PLCs are as consistent as possible for our students and families. If you would like more information, please read this letter.
Results Focused: PRIDE
Click HERE for the PRIDE site on the Doerre Dashboard for all things Pride (calendars, resources, lesson plans, etc)
We will start claiming students for Pride the week of September 3rd. The list will be sent on Wednesday to first priority teachers. The list will then be sent to second priority teachers on Thursday and then on Friday to everyone else. Students will receive an email on Tuesday informing them where they will be during Pride for that week. Please make sure you are claiming your students by the end of the day you receive the list. Pride is an intervention or enrichment period. Please make sure we are prepared so that students are engaged.
