From the Principal...
Hello Seton Community,
I continue to be amazed at the amount of cooperation and commitment our students, family, and staff have shown during this school year. Thank you for all you are doing to help us stay face to face.
With that, you may have chosen to gather or travel over Thanksgiving. We are now at about the two week mark where we are told symptoms may develop. If you, your child, or another member of your household are experiencing symptoms please keep your Seton students home and call the office. If you are getting tested, we have been told that you should assume that you are positive unless you are confirmed with a negative test. Keep your children home, please. We can set up virtual learning and a safe material pick-up if needed.
Please review the symptoms of COVID-19 from Sheboygan County Public Health and pray for all of our families.
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Nardi, Principal
Angels for Amira
Seton Catholic is planning to send Amira, one of our fifth grade students, an Army of Angels from her Seton Catholic Family and North Side Parishioners. Amira and her family are in need of our prayers. Kids or families can make an angel drawing, send an ornament, or any angel themed item. Please drop the angels off at Seton Catholic School or the Holy Name Parish Office. All angels need to be dropped off no later than December 22 so Amira can get them for Christmas.
2020 Annual Fund Drive
Grades 3-5 Enrichment at Seton
Enrichment students in grades 3-5 pose with their double-helix DNA models. This month, students are learning about the role and impact of DNA and how adaptive genes and traits define physical characteristics and aid in survival. Students are using their knowledge to design a fictional organism with "perfect" traits to survive in an assigned environment.

A Note From Ms. Rea...
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are reaching out to all families to let you know that we are available to support your child/children during these challenging times. Some of our children are unable to attend school. These students continue to be with their teachers and friends via virtual learning. Every child is important to our learning community at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School. We want to include everyone in our school community, learning together, everyday. As we know, it is essential to keep a daily routine that gives our children a sense of normalcy.
We are proud to share that our students are doing an awesome job of following the mandated health and safety protocol. We are hopeful that in time all children will be receiving instruction under one roof. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions. I may be reached at 920-452-1517. You may also contact Dr. Nardi or Mrs. Verdin. We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Rea, MSW

Thank You and Please Remember...
I am happy to report that we are still doing well under the current health crisis. Thank you for your patience and for your consideration for our school community.
I want to send out a couple of quick reminders as COVID numbers in the state continue to rise.
If a member of your household has symptoms or is being tested for COVID, do not send any of the household children to school until that family member has been cleared. The children may attend virtually.
If your child is required to isolate due to symptoms, Seton School does not require a COVID test for his/her return. We require a note or email from the child's physician that clears the child for return to school. This may mean that your child is required to stay home for 10-14 days. Please do not call your physician stating that school needs a test.
Keep in mind that a COVID test can be taken too early. A test taken right after exposure may not actually mean you are negative. Please consult your physician.
Please understand that Seton School is regulated by laws that prohibit us from sharing the personal medical information of any staff or students. If there is any exposure or positive cases at Seton School, you will receive notification. Do not call or message asking about the medical status of staff or students.
Masks are required daily. Please be sure that your child comes prepared to school with a clean and well-fitting mask each day. We are seeing many more students with masks that fall off or with no mask at all. Staying safe and healthy is a team effort.
Thank you for helping us stay safe, healthy, and open. Please let Dr. Nardi know if you have questions regarding any of the reminders above. Have a wonderful day.
