I am putting the finishing touches on a checklist that staff members can use to communicate with Sam that status of cleaning details in your classroom. This checklist will include the duties that are assigned for each area and the frequency in which they should be completed. I am asking that you complete the needed areas on the checklist when there is an item of concern or one that you would like to compliment on. This form should be sent to Sam and I electronically as needed. It is essential that we began documenting your concerns and compliments in writing and this tool should help us achieve that in the most user friendly way. Once you have reviewed the checklist please let me know if you have any questions. The checklist will be emailed to staff this week.
Volunteer Meeting, January 22nd
I've been working on a volunteering partnership with Fishers United Methodist Church over the past month. They want to be more involved in the Fishers community and have agreed that volunteering at HRE would be a great way to accomplish that. We have scheduled a meeting with interested volunteers on January 22nd. I need all HRE staff members to be thinking of how we would want to utilize these volunteers. Prior to my orientation meeting on the 22nd I would like to create a menu of volunteer options so we can best match volunteers with their area of interest. Any ideas you have are good ones so please email me any and all ideas you have of utilizing these folks in our school. The due date for ideas will be Wednesday, January 20th.
