~What's Happening at Central Elementary~
Tuesday, January 10th
Please join us at 5 pm in the media center. We will have a brief PTO meeting and then move into our Family Read Night. There will be door prizes so we hope you can join us! See flyer.
Reading Facts:
Starting in kindergarten, if a student reads 20 minutes a day at home, they will hear 1.8 million words per year. They will have read for 851 hours by 6th grade and on standardized tests, they will likely score better than 90% of their peers.
