Winter sports update
The 2021-2022 winter season was one of the most successful seasons in the last decade.
We competed in the boys ice hockey state championship at the Boston garden, the boys
basketball state championship at the Tsongas arena and the cheerleading state championship at Worcester State. In the regular season we won the Middlesex league championship in both Girls basketball and Girls hockey. Additionally, both Wrestling and Track advanced multiple athletes to the state tournament match. It was great to see so many student-athletes involved and experiencing success in their athletic activities. I would like to thank all the student athletes for their dedication and recognize all the coaches and support staff that helped lead them to success. It was a tremendous community builder to load the fan buses and see the packed fan sections at the 14 playoff games we played in. It’s a great time to be a Raider!

COVID/Mask update
Pooled testing was conducted again on Monday (3/21) and identified 2 cases of COVID in the building.

Tutoring in the Library
Tutoring is available in the library Tuesday through Friday mornings, from 7:30 - 8:30, and on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:15-4:15. In addition to the teachers on duty, there are also National Honor Society students who tutor in a wide variety of areas including Social Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Spanish, English and Math.
Returning after COVID
If you test positive for COVID and you are asymptomatic, you may come back on day six. The day you test positive for COVID is day 0. For example, if you get a positive test on Wednesday (day 0), you can return on the following Tuesday (day 6). See chart below.
If you are symptomatic and then you test positive, day 0 is the first day you start to develop symptoms.
If you test positive and develop symptoms AFTER your positive test, day 0 resets to the day you become symptomatic.
YOU CAN ONLY RETURN after 5 days of isolation if you were asymptomatic, OR if you are fever-free and your symptoms are resolving.
If you have COVID, you cannot be part of pool testing for 90 days from your positive test, as you may test positive for up to 12 weeks on a PCR test.
