Active Adults
According to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) adults should receive at least 30 minutes of moderate activity, or 25 minutes of vigorous activity.
Ambitious Adolescents
Adolescents/teens should strive to get at least 60 minutes of physical activity per day. Physical activity includes actions such as swimming, jumping, walking, running, and dancing.
Muscle strength
It is good to do muscle strengthening exercises such weight lifting.
Bone strength
It is important to do bone strengthening exercises such as running.
Stretching
It is important to stretch before and after for injury prevention
