What's Up At The Nest...
Principal's Message
Dear OMS families,
THANK YOU to our PTA, parents, and community for making STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK so wonderful for OLIVE-US that work at the nest. For families that might not know, we were treated all week long: breakfast items on Monday, a stocked lounge with goodies on Tuesday, lunch on Wednesday, notes of appreciation on Thursday, and flowers, tote bags, cookies, individual gift cards, and a gift card raffle on Friday! You could not have made us feel any more special and appreciated! We are incredibly grateful for your support.

Reminder - No Pets on school property
With the warmer weather, we have seen an increase in family pets coming to school to pick up their students. If you are walking to Olive to pick up your child please remember that pets are not allowed on our property. This includes the front plaza, playground, and fields. Pets need to be kept in the grassy area between the sidewalk and Olive street. Thank you in advance for considering the needs of all students, including those with allergies or that may have a fear of dogs.
Intersections and Cross Walks
Another very busy spot during arrival and dismissal is the intersections around Olive and the crosswalks. We are aware that many drivers are not stopping at stop signs or following the directions of our crossing guards. We are asking for your help to keep our students, families, and crossing guards safe in these very busy spots.
