Rotary Student of the Month

Our Student of the Month from Liberty High School is Kimberly Huynh. Kimberly was accompanied to the meeting by her parents and her World History Teacher, Ms. Cook. Kimberly expressed her appreciation of her teachers at LHS who helped her develop her skills and her courage to be proud of herself and her Japanese culture. She obtained the school’s permission to dress in her traditional outfit of her heritage, including her hat! She is seen here in one of the outfits she wears. Kimberly is the commentator on the daily News Series at LHS and loves doing it! She is grateful to her parents for instilling in her a philosophy of good and hard work in order to attain her goals. She is a regular volunteer at Tuality in the pediatrics clinic and has a special love for this hospital as she was born here! Kimberly plans on attending USC to study film, both in the directing side of it and the script writing of it as she wants to tell people’s true stories. We hope that Kimberly is able to achieve this dream of hers and wish her a bright future.
