Mock Election for Students on Monday, November 7
Fifth grade will be holding a Doss Mock Election on Monday, from 8:15 - 2:15. Please make sure you sign up your class on the google slide that Jodi Hughes sent out on Thursday. If you do not know where to find that or are having trouble signing up, please see Hughes, Hawkins, or Crawford for help. We want everyone to vote if possible.
When you bring your class, each student will tell the registrars there names and they will be checked off. They will be given an I Voted sticker and then they will be shown which polling area to go into. Our fifth graders are very excited to run this election for the school. Thank you for supporting us during this great learning experience!
Even if you voted on one of the on line voting sites, please come vote in person so we can get an election total for the Doss campus. It should not take more than 15 minutes for your class.

Doss is using Imagine Learning to help our ESL kids learn English. Thanks to the following teachers for getting their ESL students on Imagine Learning so far this school year:
Baehr, Barrick, Carroll, Folts, Gall, Hall, Haurwitz, Hawkins, Hodges, Hyvl, Jones, Mowry, Raup, Stone, and Stover.
As of 1 Nov, Doss only had 34 out of 132 ESL students (26%) who had signed into Imagine Learning this school year. Please have your ESL kids use it in the classroom and send the information home so they can use it there. Our subscription expires at the end of Dec. and the district will soon be deciding if they will renew this program for Doss in 2017. Please see James if you need any help.
