Vernier Road Work Begins
Parking: A kind thank you and reminder to help us by working together to ensure that the parking lot is safe for students. Dismissal has been smooth thanks to the patience of everyone waiting in line for an available parking space. As the weather warms up, more students will be riding their bikes or walking to school, and that should also reduce the number of cars in our parking lot.
M-Step Testing Continues
Please be sure your children are getting a good night sleep and breakfast to help them with the testing. Testing takes a full day of hard work for our students. Your cooperation scheduling appointments for after school hours, and getting your children to school on time is greatly appreciated.
Our students have seriously focused to show all they know on these tests. We appreciate all the treats and pizza lunch provided by the PTO and office to help them through this testing process.
Warm Weather Reminders
- Shorts and skirts need to be "fingertip" length.
- No halter tops or "spaghetti" straps; tops need to be three fingers wide. No short shirts exposing the tummy. Tops and bottoms must meet in the middle.
- No flip flops or strapless shoes. These are not safe for a quick exit on our stairways or for running on our playground!
- Extra tops and shorts are appreciated for any needed change of clothes. These can be kept in the lockers.
