What is Kahoot?
Kahoot is a free game-based classroom response system for K - 12. All teachers and students need is internet access. You can hold a quiz, survey or exit ticket in a fun way and get results back in a report. Questions are created at gethoot.com, student take quizzes at kahoot.it using a code from the teacher. Students do not need an account to participate. Music plays during the activity and students love the competition! Check out this 3 minute overview.
What is Socrative?
Socrative is a free student response system for K - 12. All teachers and students need is internet access or the Socrative Teacher/Student app. You can ask a quick question-on-the-fly, hold a quiz, exit ticket or space race competition in a fun way and get results back in a report. Teachers can login using their Google account to create questions at http://bit.ly/AssessSocrative, student take quizzes there too using a room number . Students do not need an account to participate. Music plays during the activity and students love the competition! Check out this 3 minute overview.
What is Plickers
Plickers is a free student response system for K - 12. All teachers need is an ios or Android tablet. Students are given a response card which can be printed from the Plickers website. You can ask 1 or more questions and students hold their card a particular way to represent their response. Teachers read the response with their tablet/ios device. You get results back in a report.
