Fall Festival Parade Lobby Guard Spectator Pass Required October 24 Deadline
SPECTATOR GUIDELINES: Spectators are welcome to come watch the parade in the back of the school. For safety reasons, all spectators must go through our Lobby Guard System prior to October 24th, and wear a neon sticker which you will need to pick up outside the school the day of the parade.
*If you do not have a spectator pass, valid license, or passport you will not be permitted on school grounds during the parade.
COSTUMES: All children must carry their costumes in a large grocery bag labeled with their name and teacher’s name. Weapons and violent themes are not permitted as well as “toy” weapons during the costume parade. The use of blood, gore type make-up, hair dye, and heavy face paint are discouraged. (Teacher/homeroom parents assist students with costumes).
AM KINDERGARTEN: Has a separate parade beginning at 9:30am, with a party to follow afterwards (they are also invited to come and participate in the all student parade).
PM KINDERGARTEN & ALL OTHER STUDENTS PARADE IS FROM 1:45-2:15PM. Only homeroom parents and teacher requested volunteers may be invited to the classroom after the parade.
**A flyer will be coming home with your child. RSVP using the form so that a neon spectator sticker will be ready for pickup the day of the parade if you have successfully completed Lobby Guard**
All spectators must RSVP by October 24th.
From the School Counselor
Who gets headaches from homework? Maybe it’s the students or maybe it’s the parents. If you can’t make it to the family workshop (10/14/19 at 10:00 AM at Eagleville), I have included some tips. Show a positive attitude for what your child is learning. Spend time helping your child get started, but don’t hover or get over involved. Create independence with completion, then check if it’s done. Set time limits if they seem to take too long. Finally, open up the lines of communication if you need help from your child's teacher or school counselor. Homework is important for practicing the skills students have already learned at school.
