- Discuss the importance of testing with your son/daughter.
- Provide a nutritious breakfast.
- Ensure your child is present and on time each morning. If possible, please avoid scheduling doctor/dentist appointments during the testing period.
- Make sure students have their lunches and other items needed when they arrive at school. We cannot deliver any forgotten items to students on testing days.
- If an issue arises that may impact your child’s performance, please contact a school counselor.
If you have any questions regarding any aspect of testing, please contact the school at 678-874-2702

The American Association of School Librarians' (AASL) is celebrating school librarians and their programs. Every April school librarians are encouraged to create activities to help their schools and local communities celebrate the essential role that strong school library programs play in a student's educational career. The theme of this year's School Library Month is Making Connections at Your School Library®.
We recognize the contribution of school libraries and their teacher-librarians to the individual growth and development of all students while fostering both excellence and equity in education. Please join us in celebrating the unique learning environments and opportunities available to our students and communities through the work of school librarians and their libraries.

PTSA Program on Student Stress, Anxiety, and Depression
Parenting is hard work and there is no doubt that the middle school years are particularly challenging. Kids are growing physically and emotionally at their own speed – some quickly, some slowly – each with their own unique circumstances. We want our kids to be prepared for high school, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well.
Mark your calendars now for Tuesday, April 24th at 6:30pm when the PTSA will host a program for parents that will address stress and anxiety among middle school students (and the sources of stress, including, but not limited to bullying and social media).
Our speaker will be Dr. Noriel Lim, assistant professor at Emory University, who specializes in evidence-based approaches to the treatment of anxiety and depression among children, teens and adults.
Developing skills to cope with stress, anxiety and depression are critical, as there has been a documented rise in all three in recent years among middle and high school students.
