April/May
Spring is here!
Dear Parents,
Students are buzzing with activity here at Northwest. This month in April we are recognizing Autism Awareness. We support Autism Awareness and are strong advocates in continuing to help students with this unique difference. We also will hold a Spring Showcase on April 19th, 2016 from 5:30-7:30 pm. In addition to showcasing what our students have been learning this year, rising 6th graders are encouraged to attend to get a preview of their future teachers, clubs, and organizations they can become involved in once they attend Northwest next school year. In addition, registration information will be issued to future 6th graders as well as providing students with a school tour. Please make plans to attend this event.

Early Dismissal
If it is necessary to check a student out of school before 3:15 pm, a parent, guardian, or person listed on the student’s Emergency Card must present a valid driver’s license or other form of picture ID when arriving in the office. The Emergency Card will be checked to confirm that the person has authority to pick up the student. The Early Dismissal Log will be signed in order to document the early dismissal of the child. Call the school to update the Emergency Card whenever changes need to be made. After 3:15, it is not feasible to check out a student because of car riders awaiting 3:30 dismissal along with all teachers and students
