Students of Color Conference
The Students of Color conference is a unique gathering of Washington state community college students joining together to celebrate, educate, and strengthen our identities as students of color. Over 900 students from across the state will discuss topics including ethnic and racial identity development, academic success, social justice advocacy, and intercultural communication under the theme "Radical Love: Activism Ignited." Students who have attended in the past will testify that it is a transformative experience.
Cascadia's Center for Culture, Inclusion and Community sponsors a group of Cascadia students to attend, for whom all travel, food, and registration costs will be covered. Stop by The Center in CC1-002 to pick up an application. Applications are due Feb. 1.

Student Clubs update
Clubs are a great way to learn leadership skills, meet other students with similar interests, and get more connected outside of class. As our current clubs are establishing their meeting times for the winter quarter, it's a great time to think about starting a new club! It's very easy, it looks great on your resume/university applications, and Cascadia offers generous resources to support club activities. Find out more about clubs on the Clubs page of our Student Life website.
The next Club Council meeting is Friday, January 12 @ 9:00 a.m. in ARC 121.
