From the Principal:
You should also receive information from your child's homeroom teacher on how he/she did on our CFA's--Common Formative Assessments. These assessments reflect learning that took place during our 2nd nine weeks. Look for that information to come home soon.
Next week is also Red Ribbon Week. We will be focusing on saying no to drugs. The theme this year is "YOLO, Be drug free!". Look for some special dress days for your student to help them say no to drugs!
Thanks for all you do to partner with us at LSRO! We appreciate you!
Counselor's Corner
October is Volunteer Month at Life School. We encourage you to involve your whole family in some type of community service this month. When we model volunteerism for our children, they are much more likely to grow up and value serving in their communities!

From the Registrar:
Last week, those that had not completed the online paperwork received an email and/or text message. If you did not receive notification, your students paperwork HAS been completed. If you did receive this notification, and have not yet completed the paperwork, please do so as soon as possible. This paperwork can be accessed through the Parent Portal for each student that is enrolled at Life School. Because these forms contain important emergency contact information along with acknowledgement of our district policies we must have your paperwork completed immediately.
Our policy is that all enrollment paperwork must be completed and submitted within 30 days after the first day your child was in attendance. For students who started school on August 10th, the deadline for completion was September 21st. In order for your student to continue their enrollment at Life School, this completed paperwork is a requirement. If you have access to a computer please go to www.lifeschools.net, select the Parent Resources tab and click on Parent Portal. If you are an existing user, you may log in and begin the process. If you are a new user, you will need to set up an account using your student’s ID number. If you do not have your student’s ID number, please contact the registrar at judith.frazier@lifeschools.net. Once you have created a parent portal account and are logged in to the system, please go to the last tab that says “Registration” and follow the prompts to complete and submit all forms.
If you have any problems accessing the online documents please contact Judy Frazier at 469-552-9200 for support.
Along with the documents that should be completed in Parent Portal, we also ask you go to www.lifeschools.net and go to Food & Uniform Services, under Parent Resources, to complete the Lunch Program Application. This link will also give you access to be able to add to your students lunch account, as well as view the menu for the month.
If you do not have access to a computer please contact your registrar to set up a date and time when you can go to the campus to complete these required online documents. We will also have a couple of opportunities coming up for you to stop by and receive assistance. The Registrar’s office will be open if you have a conference set up with the teacher next week, October 18th, on the early release day. And, we will have the computer lab open at Fall Festival, October 25th.
