Preparing for MAP Testing Next Week
Good morning Daniel Wright students, parents, and guardians,
In preparation for MAP testing next week, we are asking that each seventh- and eighth-grade student walks through the following set of instructions by Monday, September 14 to make sure their iPad is set up properly to access the MAP Assessment.
Please follow the Device Ready Instructions.
If, after going through the steps (including watching the video under step 1 and changing any needed settings on your iPad) your device still doesn’t pass the check, please request assistance using the Instructional Technology Help Form.
Thank you so much for your assistance with this, and we wish you a great rest of your week! Testing is scheduled to begin Wednesday, September 16.
DW Spirit Wear Available
The Spirit Wear Store is now open to order our puzzle piece shirts! Some of you already have one but these are new and improved - featuring our new mascot. You also have the option to purchase a DW mask!
The deadline to order shirts is Wednesday, September 16.
Library Offers Year-Long Program for Teen Volunteers
This program is designed for teens in grades 7-12 and will provide them an opportunity to earn volunteer hours from home. Students do not need to fill out applications or go through any training. There is also flexibility because teens can volunteer as their schedule allows.
For information on the teen volunteering program, please visit the library's teen volunteering web page.
