Howbert Happenings

April 25, 2022

Messages from Principal Lefere

This week we will be wrapping up all CMAS assessments for this year. Our focus will be on having students that were absent, make up any missing assessments.

From what I saw and heard, students put in a lot of effort to show what they know!

Thanks for partnering with the staff at Howbert and making sure students were prepared to do their very best.

Howbert Elementary is on the Board of Education agenda (non-action) for recommendation as an outdoor learning pathway school. Following are the details:

  • You can show support by attending the meeting as a parent/guardian and bringing your Howbert student(s).
  • The board will probably consider pathway schools close to 7:00. If you are going to attend, please be there between 6:15 and 6:45.
  • You can also choose to speak in support of our pathway application during public comments at the beginning of the meeting (5:30). Use the following link for more information and to sign up to make a public comment

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

*** Our last meeting of the school year is on Thursday, May 12th @ 4pm ***

Are you interested in getting more involved? We have several board positions open that need to be filled in order for the PTO to run effectively:
