A peek into our week
ELA - We enjoyed many October themed books, but really focused on The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything. We worked on Verbs, and Reading with Expression and had a lot of fun. I hope you were able to enjoy our production that I sent.
We also continued with Non Fiction reading in our SUPER magazine. Did they tell you about learning how our eyes adjust to the light and dark? Then we did a cool experiment to "see" (ha ha) how our pupils work and gave God create for being such an amazing creator.
Math- We revisited Number Sense and took it up a few notches. The kids are really taking ownership with this and it shows in their progress. We ended the week with a fun Halloween Inverse Operation activity - look for the candy corn sheet. We will be focusing on Subtraction next week.
Bible - Pumpkin Bible - so precious
