In Case You Missed It...

J&A CHARITY VENDOR BINGO

On Sunday, October 13, 2019, J&A Charity Bingo will be hosting a Vendor Bingo event at the Tylersport Fire Station to benefit the Vernfield HSA. Doors open at noon. Games start at 1 pm. 20 different vendors are supplying the prizes. Our HSA will be handling all of the raffles and bonus game cards. If you tell them you are with Vernfield at the door, the $5 entrance fee goes directly to us at the end of the event! Each game is $1. Bonus round cards are $10 for a chance to win 1 prize from each of the vendors. Vernfield keeps all of the money we raise from sales of the bonus round cards. Food will be available to purchase from their provider or you can bring your own. This is a family friendly event but you can BYOB. More information about the event can be found on the J&A Facebook page. Contact Lisa Hovind at lisa.vfhsa@gmail.com with any questions.

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY AT GIANT:

Giant is selling reusable shopping bags which contain a tag with a code number that will earn Vernfield HSA $1 for each code entered. The bags are located by the check out at the Harleysville Giant. Purchase a bag for $2.50. Go to the MyGMCause.com website within 7 days of your purchase, enter the code located under the scratch off portion of the tag and choose Vernfield HSA as your non-profit (we are located on the third page of the list).

ATHLETIC SHOE DRIVE:

The HSA has partnered with Got Sneakers for an Athletic Shoe Drive to raise funds and to help keep the shoes out of landfills. New or used sneakers in wearable condition will earn more for us but we will be accepting sneakers and cleats in any condition. Sneakers with rips, holes, separated soles will be recycled. Shoe donations will be accepted until the Thanksgiving break.

If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Hovind at lisa.vfhsa@gmail.com
