WAVA Families and Students
Communicating gratitude is always important, but especially around November as we celebrate ways to be thankful. We would love to hear what you are thankful for this month. Please take a moment to do two things. 1. Post a message of thanks on our WAVA Padlet and 2. Submit a special story about what you are thankful for to Project Elevate (these stories are sent to our media team and can be shared out throughout the news and local publications).
This month we encourage students to think our 7 Mindset, 'Live to Give'. November is a time for gratitude and giving to others. Below we have many ways to be involved this month. As we continue into the holiday season, students are encouraged to show up on time in class, reach out to their teachers and counselors and to attend engagement activities like clubs or outings. Staying connected while going into the busy season is important.
Here at WAVA we appreciate each of you, our students and Learning Coaches. We know you have the option to choose where to go for your education and we are thankful that you choose WAVA. Happy Fall!
Sincerely,
Susan Boyer, WAVA Executive Director
