Inspire Kindness Campaign

It’s never too early to teach the value of kindness and the impact that kindness can have on those around us. We all have the opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on the people in our lives simply by being kind. Learning about, implementing, and inspiring kindness is the foundation of a successful learning community. To kick off our inspire kindness campaign, every student and staff member received an inspire kindness bracelet last month. It is our hope that all will choose to wear the bracelet as we inspire kindness together at Glen Meadow!

Joyful June 2022

This month's theme is all about finding the joy in life, even when things are difficult. Research has shown that experiencing positive emotions in a 3-to-1 ratio with negative ones leads to a tipping point beyond which we naturally become more resilient to adversity. So let's train our brains to find the joy.

VTSD International Exchange Program

Are you interested in being a host family?

VTSD is proud to announce our International Exchange program for the Fall and we are currently looking for host families! Hosting an international student is an incredibly rewarding experience. Families who open their hearts and homes to international high school students develop lifelong bonds and gain a better understanding of the world around them. The opportunity to host also provides important cultural lessons for your family, neighbors, and our Vernon community. Check out our informational flyer and be sure to contact Lisa Curry, our program’s local coordinator, with any questions you may have.
