Physicians have irregular hours. So days may start at different times depending on if they are on call or not. A physician may start at a private office and move to a hospital or nursing home. Skills Necessary

Communication skills because of the constant contact with patients, compassion because it's a hard job to do and you have to want to do it and go through the schooling and hard times. Dexterity because physicians are constantly working with their hands. Problem solving because people are coming to you in hopes you can help them out.
